DevOps Engineer – AWS, Kubernetes & Microservices (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a leading bank in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on designing, deploying and managing cloud‑native solutions using AWS, Azure and Kubernetes within a micro‑services architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage AWS and Azure resources such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Azure VMs, Azure Storage and Azure SQL.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools, GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager.
• Integrate security scanning tools like SonarQube and Checkmarx into the delivery pipeline.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Bash and Python.

Required profile

• Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
• Proven ability to design and operate CI/CD pipelines on AWS and GitHub.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
• Familiarity with security analysis tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx).
• Ability to complete a mandatory 1.5‑hour JavaScript test.
• Background in banking or finance domain is preferred.
