DevOps Engineer (Hardware Lead)

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong hardware knowledge to design, build and maintain automation pipelines for internal systems, customer projects and service operations. The role is based in Dubai and involves close collaboration with software developers, IT infrastructure teams and customer‑facing groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for internal enterprise applications (on‑premise and SaaS such as Salesforce and ServiceNow).
• Automate firmware flashing, hardware provisioning, OS and driver installation using IPMI/Redfish and vendor APIs.
• Standardise and automate mass configuration of servers, storage clusters and virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox).
• Create reusable deployment templates and system images for private‑cloud and customer environments.
• Support professional‑services projects by delivering repeatable infrastructure and software deployments.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot failures and continuously improve reliability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for all automation processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar).
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting ability (Bash, Python).
• Hands‑on experience with on‑premise infrastructure, basic networking and hardware provisioning.
• Familiarity with cloud/SaaS platforms and version control (Git).
• Experience using infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Background in working with firmware, BIOS, RAID and hardware compatibility testing.
