DHA Licensed Pharmacist

About the role

GMG is seeking a DHA‑licensed pharmacist to join its Dubai pharmacy team. The role involves accurate prescription handling, patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with local health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review customers' prescriptions to assure accuracy, determine needed drugs, and evaluate suitability.
• Provide information and advice on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Conduct questioning to understand customer needs and offer assistance when necessary.
• Achieve sales targets through up‑selling and cross‑selling of Super Care categories.
• Order and purchase pharmaceutical and medical supplies, maintaining stock, storage, and handling.
• Comply with local pharmacy regulations, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication.
• Maintain and report pharmacy records required by external authorities such as the Dubai Health Authority.
• Liaise with insurance companies to process claims promptly and resolve billing issues.
• Handle daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry management, and merchandising.
• Flexibly work different shifts and locations as assigned to meet business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE.
• Strong communication skills in English.
