Diagnostic Technician for Commercial Vehicles

About the role

The Diagnostic Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality servicing and repairs on the electrical systems of commercial trucks and buses. Working within United Diesel’s after‑sales service centre, the role ensures customer satisfaction by following manufacturers’ specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer requests, analyse them with the supervisor/foreman and refine the diagnostic process.
• Perform electrical repairs and servicing according to manufacturer recommendations and operating procedures.
• Communicate test results and progress with the foreman and assist other technicians as needed.
• Observe all safety rules for equipment, instruments and products to prevent accidents.
• Meet productivity targets set by the foreman and carry out minor, unrequested work that improves service quality.
• Diagnose electrical problems using blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogues.
• Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical/electronic components, pipe systems and related machinery.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the foreman and technical team.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.
