About the role
The Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre seeks a qualified Dietician to join its multidisciplinary team across its Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra branches. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, creating therapeutic meal plans and supporting patients with chronic conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional status using diet history, medical data and lifestyle factors.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans and therapeutic diets for conditions such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular, renal and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Provide counseling and education to patients, families and caregivers on healthy eating, weight management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document assessments and outcomes in patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, case discussions and quality improvement activities.
