Digital Content Manager – Website & Content Editor

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Content Manager to own the Emirates Loves website end‑to‑end, handling administration, publishing and editorial duties. This hands‑on role blends CMS management with content creation for a culturally‑focused audience.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the WordPress site, managing publishing workflow and on‑page SEO.
• Write and publish news articles, event announcements, previews and post‑event coverage.
• Build and maintain event landing pages, coordinating visuals and registration links with events and marketing teams.
• Keep the homepage and news feed up‑to‑date, including live updates on event days.
• Source, edit and optimise photography, video and copy from events.
• Plan, write and send newsletters and email campaigns.
• Maintain a content calendar aligned with the event schedule.
• Track traffic and engagement using Google Analytics and adjust publishing strategy.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in web content management, digital editorial or online journalism.
• Excellent written English; professional Arabic strongly preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet event‑driven deadlines, including occasional evenings/weekends.
• Knowledge of the UAE media and cultural landscape is a plus.

Required skills

• WordPress development and custom dashboard experience.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and WordPress best practices.
• On‑page SEO, metadata, page speed and accessibility basics.
• Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Basic image and video editing using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
