Digital Release Governance – Assistant Manager – RBG Digital

About the role

The role is responsible for introducing and evolving the Release Management framework for all production releases within the RBG Digital space, ensuring alignment with Mashreq’s technology stack, architectural principles, and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Release Management framework, tools, and processes across RBG Digital.
• Collaborate with Agile Coaches, Architecture, Business Governance, risk, compliance, and CXCG to continuously enhance the framework.
• Ensure all releases have appropriate artifacts, sign‑offs, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide exceptional approvals and mitigation plans for releases deviating from standard requirements.
• Produce periodic release reports and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree with at least 3 years of experience in banking operations or related functions.
• Strong focus on governance, compliance, and control mechanisms.
• Ability to understand technical/digital solutions and their implications.
• Experience in change management, stakeholder analysis, and workforce readiness.

Required skills

• Knowledge of major banking applications and digital solutions.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and digital studio environments.
