Senior Project Lead - Digital Transformation

About the role

The Senior Project Lead will define the problem to solve, shape the solution and translate high‑level designs into concrete requirements for delivery teams. The role drives multiple digital transformation work‑streams, manages junior project leads and ensures initiatives deliver measurable impact on sales, profitability, customer experience and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic activities to define current (as‑is) state and design the ideal (to‑be) state across business, process, policy and technology dimensions.
• Produce detailed requirement specifications, obtain sign‑off from business and control stakeholders (Risk, Security, Compliance, Legal).
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of 3‑4 concurrent initiatives, coordinating IT, design, vendors and external partners.
• Facilitate de‑bottlenecking, decision‑making and escalation to senior stakeholders.
• Track benefits realization, ensure hand‑over to Business‑As‑Usual and report impact against targets.

Required profile

• 5+ years in top‑tier management consulting or 8‑10 years leading digital transformation projects in a large organization, preferably within financial services.
• Proven experience delivering at least five large‑scale, high‑impact programs.
• Strong problem‑structuring, hypothesis generation and data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence senior (VP/SVP) stakeholders and manage challenging conversations.

• Digital transformation technologies: GenAI, RPA, IPA, RDA, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Chatbots, NLP/NLG.
• Project management methodologies and tools for planning, execution and benefit tracking.
