About the role
The Director of Corporate Affairs & Government Relations will lead the organisation's engagement with government bodies and regulators across the UAE. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures the company’s public affairs and regulatory strategies are aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage government relations, regulatory engagement, and corporate affairs throughout the UAE.
- Serve as the primary interface with government agencies and regulators.
- Monitor policy developments, conduct advocacy, and mitigate regulatory risks.
- Support licensing processes, ensure compliance, and drive strategic initiatives involving public entities.
- Collaborate closely with legal teams and executive leadership.
Required profile
- Senior experience in government relations or public affairs within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments and stakeholder dynamics.
- Demonstrated discretion, credibility, and excellent communication skills.
- Arabic fluency highly preferred.
- Experience in highly regulated sectors is an advantage.
