Director, eCommerce Consumer Experience & Engagement (Emerging Markets)

About the role

The Director, eCommerce Consumer Experience & Engagement for Emerging Markets will shape and execute the consumer‑centric strategy that connects discovery, experience and loyalty across adidas digital channels. Reporting into the regional leadership team, you will work from either Dubai or Cape Town and partner with global and cluster teams to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the Consumer Engagement & Experience strategy for Emerging Markets, aligning with cluster priorities and global direction.
• Own the SEO strategy, driving organic visibility, traffic and conversion through technical SEO, on‑page optimization, site architecture and page‑experience improvements.
• Develop consumer insights, analytics and reporting frameworks to enable data‑led decision making.
• Design and execute audience segmentation, personalization and lifecycle communication plans.
• Collaborate with CRM, Membership, Marketing, Retail and eCommerce teams to align initiatives with product launches and brand campaigns.
• Measure, report and communicate the impact of engagement, experience and SEO on commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in consumer engagement, digital experience or eCommerce within a matrixed, multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of using data to drive strategy and performance.
• Ability to develop and govern strategic roadmaps, KPIs and governance frameworks.
• Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams such as CRM, marketing, retail and product.
