Director - International Programme Delivery

About the role

The International Office of AD Ports Group is seeking a senior leader to drive end‑to‑end delivery of its global project portfolio. Reporting to senior management, the Director will ensure that international programmes across ports, maritime, logistics, digital and free‑zone clusters are executed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full delivery ecosystem, including Program Management, Project Controls, Construction Compliance and Design Implementation.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan and delivery strategy aligned with the business roadmap.
• Oversee all project lifecycle phases from initiation through commissioning and handover.
• Support procurement activities, evaluate and select service providers and contractors.
• Manage contractor performance to meet project commitments and corporate governance.
• Assess regional and international programme risks and provide mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Ensure accurate data management, analytics, reporting and forecasting across programmes.
• Provide HSE leadership for all international construction activities, aligning with ADPG HSSE standards.
• Deliver executive‑level reporting on progress, risks and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and inspire high‑performing delivery teams, driving organisational design and staffing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale international programmes within the ports, maritime or logistics sectors.
• Strong track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic delivery plans.
• Experience in risk assessment, mitigation and governance compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for executive reporting and cross‑functional coordination.
