Senior Engineer – QA/QC

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure that all project activities, materials, and workmanship meet the highest standards. You will work across the project lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver infrastructure solutions that are safe, reliable, and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors on all quality‑related matters.
• Monitor non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.
• Perform internal audits and support external audit processes.
• Ensure proper calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance.

Required profile

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in QA/QC on construction or engineering projects.
• Proven experience in quality control and assurance practices.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Experience with inspection, testing, and auditing processes.
• Proficiency in reporting and documentation tools.
