Director of Human Resource Operations

About the role

The Director of Human Resource Operations leads the HR team in delivering recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and learning initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures compliance with local laws and internal policies while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee legal and compliance practices, including audit readiness, documentation of disciplinary actions, and management of unemployment claims.
• Communicate policy changes, benefit updates, and handbook revisions to all employees.
• Drive staffing processes, from interviewing and hiring HR team members to managing performance appraisals and merit increases.
• Maintain open employee relations, applying an “open‑door” approach to resolve concerns promptly and fairly.
• Administer HR policies consistently, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and local regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of HR or management operations experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance, communication, staffing, and employee‑relations functions.
