Director of Resort Ambience & Experience

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a visionary Director of Resort Ambience & Experience to shape the sensory environment of its upcoming luxury resort. Reporting to the Nightlife Marketing team, you will lead the creation of a cohesive ambience strategy that enhances guest satisfaction and drives commercial performance across all venues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a property‑wide Ambience Playbook covering lighting, music, scent, visuals and pacing for each daypart.
• Collaborate with AVL/Technical, Operations, F&B, Marketing and Entertainment teams to ensure consistent execution of ambience standards.
• Conduct daily on‑floor ambience rounds to align lighting, sound, scent and overall energy with brand expectations.
• Use guest feedback, analytics and performance data to continuously improve dwell time, satisfaction and revenue.
• Integrate ambience into programming, seasonal activations and storytelling initiatives.
• Curate signature sensory moments, including music programming, scent identity and visual experiences.
• Lead training for operational teams on ambience standards and execution.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships and sustainability considerations for ambience technology.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years in luxury hospitality, nightlife or large‑scale experiential environments.
• Proven expertise in sensory design, day‑parting and guest journey orchestration across multiple venues.
• Strong collaborative ability with technical, operational and creative teams.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience translating insights into guest experience improvements.
• Deep understanding of luxury F&B service standards and experiential dining/entertainment concepts.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
