Director of Supply Chain

About the role

tMart UAE is seeking a senior leader to head its Supply Chain function for the growing grocery business. The Director will own both Demand Planning and end‑to‑end supply chain operations, ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory, transportation costs, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead demand forecasting across all categories and channels, driving accuracy and product availability.
• Manage inventory health, Days on Hand targets, and stock allocation across warehouses and stores.
• Design and optimise the UAE supply chain network, including transportation flows, route planning, truck utilisation and contract structures.
• Oversee warehouse and 3PL partner performance, monitoring KPIs such as on‑time delivery, damage rates and cost efficiency.
• Implement automation, advanced analytics and AI‑driven Intelligent Demand Planning tools to enhance forecasting and operational excellence.
• Develop and continuously improve SOPs, drive process innovation and ensure compliance across all supply‑chain functions.

Required profile

• Proactive leader capable of designing scalable supply‑chain solutions.
• Strong focus on operational excellence and innovation that directly impacts GMV growth and free cash flow.
• Ability to collaborate closely with Commercial, Operations and Inventory teams to anticipate business needs.
