Director, Product Management - Pricing & Assurance

About the role

Mastercard's Transfer Solutions team in EEMEA is looking for a Director, Product Management (Pricing & Assurance) for Mastercard Move, part of the EEMEA Product Management Team for Cross Border Payments. The role works with large financial institutions, fintechs, bureau de changes and government clearing schemes to advance Mastercard's cross-border payment strategy, covering low-value B2B payments, P2P remittances and purpose-based payments such as bill, tuition and utility payments. It is a pricing and assurance function, working with Product Sales teams and Account Managers to protect the company's long-term financial interests while delivering commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Work with customers to shape the right value story and financial model for each product.
• Prepare and facilitate complex business cases at customer, deal and portfolio level.
• Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle, partnering with Finance and Sales.
• Track business drivers and enablers (delivery timelines, growth rates) on weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Deliver executive presentations and run QBRs and MBRs with senior leaders and strategic clients.
• Partner on strategy refresh cycles and act as PMO for work streams affecting revenue, such as network health, FX constructs and deal incentive structures.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of cross-border payments and the commercial factors behind them.
• Understanding of financial and reporting metrics used in business development.
• Able to work horizontally in a matrixed organization and drive results through influence rather than authority.
• Strong communicator, able to lead client-facing conversations independently.
• Past pricing experience is a plus; Product FP&A candidates may also fit.

Required skills

• Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, as they account for about 70% of the work (pricing, governance, reporting).
