Divisional Manager - MEP

About the role

The MEP Divisional Manager will lead the entire MEP projects division, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design to execution. This senior role is responsible for the division’s profit and loss, ensuring profitable, timely, and high‑quality delivery while driving new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership of the MEP division, establishing financial governance and monitoring costs and revenues per project.
• Optimize resource allocation, manage project schedules with Primavera, and track performance using Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
• Lead project reviews, ensure timely delivery, and protect profitability through variation and change management.
• Identify and pursue new MEP opportunities, build strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.
• Oversee design, planning, execution, and handover of MEP works for high‑rise buildings, villas, malls and commercial facilities, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate procurement, finance, contracts, and supply‑chain teams to align with contractual terms and client expectations.
• Integrate energy‑efficient solutions and promote sustainable technologies in MEP designs.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 10‑12 years of experience managing MEP projects for residential, commercial and industrial towers in the UAE or GCC.
• 3‑4 years in a divisional manager role with proven P&L responsibility.
• PMI‑PMP certification preferred.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection.
• Proficiency with Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and Primavera planning tools.
• Strong P&L management, cost control, budgeting and forecasting abilities.
• Project leadership and team mentoring experience.
