Document Controller

About the role

The Document Controller will manage all project documentation for construction initiatives, ensuring that drawings, contracts, RFIs, submittals and reports are accurately filed, tracked and readily available to authorised personnel. The role works closely with the project team to maintain smooth document flow throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and maintain all project‑related documents, including drawings, technical submittals, contracts, reports, RFIs and correspondence.
• Upload, register and categorise documents in Aconex, following company document control procedures.
• Maintain version control, ensuring the latest documents are accessible and previous versions are archived.
• Monitor and control document distribution between project team, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support the project team in quickly retrieving required documents to facilitate project execution.

Required profile

• Experience in document control within construction or engineering projects.
• Familiarity with document management software, preferably Aconex.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
