Document Controller – Valve Manufacturing

About the role

The Document Controller will be the single point of accountability for managing all project documentation related to valve manufacturing. You will ensure that every technical and commercial document is accurate, properly formatted, and submitted on time to EPCs and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full document control lifecycle for active projects, from receipt of technical requirements to final submission, close‑out and archiving.
• Prepare, review and submit datasheets, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), EN 10204 3.1/3.2 material test certificates, welding records and Manufacturer’s Data Reports.
• Maintain transmittal logs and document registers, tracking revision history, submission status and follow‑up actions.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, QA/QC and production teams to gather required documents and ensure internal review before external submission.
• Manage formal project correspondence, including cover letters, transmittals and acknowledgments, and communicate with EPC document controllers.
• Integrate sub‑vendor documentation into the overall project package and provide regular status reports to project teams.
• Maintain a secure, organized filing system (electronic and physical) for quick document retrieval.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on document control experience in the valve manufacturing or a closely related oil & gas equipment sector.
• Deep understanding of valve documentation terminology, review cycles and EPC expectations.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
