Dynamics 365 Customization Specialist

About the role

A client of Global Software Solutions Group is looking for a Dynamics 365 Customization Specialist in Abu Dhabi to design, build and maintain customizations on its Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform environment. You will turn business requirements into secure, scalable solutions, working closely with business analysts, solution architects and the IT security function in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CE modules (tables, forms, views, fields, relationships, business rules, dashboards)
• Build and maintain model-driven apps and canvas apps on the Power Platform, and design Dataverse data models
• Develop business process flows for case handling, approvals and workflows
• Write plugins (C#/.NET) and custom workflow activities, and client-side scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build PCF controls and automate processes with Power Automate cloud flows
• Integrate Dynamics 365 with internal systems via Dataverse Web API, REST/SOAP, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus
• Support data migration and quality work with tools such as KingswaySoft, SSIS or Azure Data Factory
• Configure security roles, field-level security and hierarchy security, and keep customizations compliant with security policies and audit requirements
• Maintain solution documentation, technical design documents and change records
• Manage solutions across Dev, Test, UAT and Production, support CI/CD pipelines and follow change management processes
• Provide L2/L3 support, work with business users on requirements, and support UAT and user training

Required profile

• 5+ years in Dynamics 365 CE / CRM with deep hands-on customization experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Clear communicator with technical and business stakeholders, disciplined about documentation and change control, comfortable in strict governance and security frameworks, able to work independently
• Experience in banking, financial services or government entities; exposure to case management or complaints handling workflows is a plus
