EFL Teacher – Intensive English Programme

About the role

Al Nahda National School, Boys is seeking enthusiastic EFL teachers to join its four‑year‑old Intensive English Programme. The programme serves more than 6,500 students each year in purpose‑built training centres on the university campus.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver up to 25 hours of English instruction per week, with additional cover as needed.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and supplementary resources.
• Mark homework, class work and administer placement, progress and achievement tests.
• Assess student performance and produce detailed reports.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops and university life activities.
• Assist with the administration of public examinations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• CELTA or equivalent TEFL qualification (minimum 120 hours classroom study and 6 hours observed teaching).
• At least 2 years of EFL teaching experience, preferably in the Middle East.
