E&I General Foreman – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The E&I General Foreman will supervise and control the electrical, instrumentation and telecom construction crews on an oil & gas project, ensuring timely delivery while meeting quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise up to 80 productive personnel and 8 supervisory staff, allocating workforce, tools and equipment to meet short‑term priorities.
• Review project specifications, installation standards and drawings, raising technical queries and seeking clarifications as needed.
• Coordinate with client representatives, other section foremen, subcontractors and internal departments to resolve specification violations, non‑conformances and interface issues.
• Maintain close contact with QC inspectors and client representatives to secure inspection releases, acceptance certificates and related documentation.
• Assist in preparing as‑built drawings, material reconciliation reports and other project close‑out documents.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or E&C from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience installing electrical, instrumentation and telecom equipment in the oil & gas sector.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills, with a growth‑mindset for continuous development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using engineering software relevant to electrical and instrumentation installation.
• Ability to pass physical fitness examinations and meet offshore safety requirements.
