Electrical Engineer – Infrastructure & Street Lighting

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to plan, supervise and coordinate electrical installations for infrastructure and street lighting projects in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with authority standards and project specifications while delivering high‑quality work on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, load schedules, voltage drop calculations and schematics in line with ADDC and other authority guidelines.
• Oversee on‑site electrical work including cabling, trunking, terminations, fittings and testing.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities to obtain inspections, NOCs and manage handover procedures.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work meets QA/QC and HSE standards and is completed within schedule.
• Maintain material logs, variation registers and other project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–10 years of experience in infrastructure projects within the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of ADDC, ADM and local authority regulations.
• Experience with street lighting, cable works and NOC processes.
