Electrical Engineer

About the role

KN International is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support infrastructure projects in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising, executing, and coordinating all technical field‑engineering aspects of construction, ensuring that electrical installations meet design specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, supervise, and coordinate technical field‑engineering tasks for infrastructure projects.
• Supervise complex electrical construction assignments covering HV, MV, LV and ELV systems.
• Ensure quality‑assurance compliance and verify installations against design plans and standards.
• Conduct, witness, and document all tests and inspections according to approved procedures.
• Collaborate with construction management to mitigate environmental, health, and safety hazards.
• Review and interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical solutions to engineering problems and oversee their implementation.
• Develop and monitor discipline‑specific construction schedules and report progress.
• Monitor material procurement and delivery to support timely project execution.
• Organise project turnover documentation and maintain communication with design teams, management, and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in electrical engineering for infrastructure projects, especially HV, MV, LV & ELV systems.
• Proven experience in testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance testing of electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of industry practices, standards, and safety regulations.
• Willingness to be based in the Western Region – Madinat Zayed.
