Electrical Engineer

About the role

AESG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver safe, durable, and high‑performance electrical designs across a diverse portfolio of built‑environment projects in the Middle East. The role covers concept through construction stages, emphasizing technical excellence and BIM‑enabled delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake electrical calculations and design LV power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, UPS, standby power and ELV infrastructure.
• Prepare technical reports, single‑line diagrams, schematics, detailed drawings and specifications; develop power demand and load assessments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, attend client meetings, support tender and construction documentation, and contribute to multiple concurrent projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and membership of a professional institution (IET, CIBSE, IEEE or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical building services design with strong knowledge of UAE/GCC codes and regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Dialux EVO, ETAP, Amtech and Trimble Navisworks.
