Electrical Engineer – Testing & Commissioning

About the role

KN International is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer specialized in testing and commissioning (T&C) to support infrastructure projects in the Abu Dhabi region. The role involves supervising, testing, commissioning and handing over HV, MV, LV and ELV systems in line with approved drawings, specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute, supervise and coordinate all technical aspects of electrical construction projects.
• Perform first‑level quality assurance to ensure installations meet plans, specifications and standards.
• Conduct, witness and document tests and inspections for HV, MV, LV and ELV systems.
• Review testing and commissioning procedures, test reports and related documentation.
• Collaborate with construction management to mitigate hazards and ensure safe work practices.
• Maintain liaison with design engineering staff and interpret design drawings.
• Resolve technical engineering problems and coordinate solutions.
• Develop and monitor discipline construction schedules and report progress to the Construction Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical engineering, testing and commissioning for infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV, MV, LV and ELV system standards.
• Ability to supervise construction engineering work and provide technical expertise.
• Excellent problem‑solving and client communication skills.
