Electrical QA/QC Engineer – Permanent Position

About the role

The Electrical QA/QC Engineer will support the development and implementation of the Project Quality Delivery Plan for construction projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Building & Infrastructure, the role ensures compliance with contract specifications, FIDIC conditions and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and monitor the Project Quality Plan, including technical quality assurance, construction quality, fabrication quality, ITPs and inspections.
• Review contractor submissions for compliance with contract documents and conduct on‑site surveillance of construction activities.
• Issue guidance to quality and engineering teams, manage non‑conformances and report quality performance at construction meetings.
• Attend technical meetings, manage inspection requests (IRs) and ensure the approved PQP is fully implemented.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC management experience in construction, preferably with consulting firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; postgraduate degree in management is a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2008 or higher and training in QA/QC management.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
• Expertise in preparing and reviewing Project Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans.
• Technical reporting and interpretation of project specifications.
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and audit processes.
