Electrician - 5-Star Resort

About the role

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, a 5-star resort in Ras Al Khaimah, is looking for an electrician. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property's electrical systems and equipment, keeping them safe, functional and comfortable for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment and facilities throughout the property.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of all electrical installations.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards and take immediate corrective action when needed.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimise disruption.
• Assist guests about property facilities in an informative, professional and helpful way.
• Plan and prioritise daily tasks so maintenance is completed within set timelines.
• Support other departments with their maintenance requests and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and company policies.
• Keep records of maintenance work and report major repairs or equipment issues to the Engineering team.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a similar role for at least 2 years in a 5-star resort in the UAE; resort experience is preferred.
• Technical education background and related diplomas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise work in a busy schedule and to work as part of a team.
