About the role

Join the Engineering & Maintenance team at The Lana, a luxury hotel in Dubai, as a full‑time Electrician. You will ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting a world‑class guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair electrical equipment in accordance with code.
• Perform preventive maintenance and testing on all electrical systems, sub‑systems and equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble power and lighting equipment for events, meetings and banquets.
• Complete maintenance work orders from all departments promptly and participate in the preventive maintenance programme.
• Respond to guest calls, resolve complaints and handle emergency situations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly engineering area and coordinate with other engineering staff.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade certification.
• At least 3 years facility‑management experience, with a minimum of 2 years as an electrician in a 5‑star international hotel.
• Pre‑opening experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, able to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a customer‑service mindset.

• Reading and interpreting building, air‑conditioning, refrigeration and electrical drawings.
• Use of diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
