Electrician – Residential & Commercial Maintenance

About the role

GMG is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its facilities team in Dubai. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, and wiring.
• Troubleshoot daily electrical issues and resolve faults promptly.
• Implement corrective actions for identified system failures.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and perform ad‑hoc electrical tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records, including cost tracking.
• Ensure all electrical equipment complies with safety standards.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of relevant UAE experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC, single‑phase and three‑phase systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and single‑line diagrams (SLDs).
• Proficiency with electrical testing and measuring instruments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills.
