About the role
AL TAIF is seeking an Instructor I to deliver electronics and armament training for the UAE Army. The role involves designing, delivering, and evaluating classroom and workshop courses while ensuring safety, security, and high graduation rates.
Key responsibilities
- Enforce all safety and security policies and directives.
- Advise the Chief Instructor on course development, delivery, and student performance.
- Deliver classroom and workshop training on electronics and armament subjects.
- Design, develop, and analyse courses using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
- Prepare and deliver operator courses and technical evaluations for GMC technicians.
- Provide coaching and remedial training to maximise graduation rates and test scores.
- Serve as primary or alternate instructor for both workshop and classroom sessions.
- Manage equipment, supplies, and computers, ensuring proper maintenance and accountability.
- Develop and continuously improve instructional materials, including lesson plans, handouts, and presentations.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and training programs to stay current with instructional techniques and technology.
- Support faculty members and maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Instructor and the Director of the Technical Training School.
Required profile
- A relevant degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and graduation from a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles is advantageous.
- Minimum four years of experience as an instructor in logistics or general subjects.
- Two years of military experience is a plus.
- Experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is beneficial.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Ability to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.

- Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) usage.
