Elementary Classroom Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our school in Sharjah. The successful candidate will deliver the American curriculum, create engaging lessons, and support students' academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach well‑structured lessons aligned with the school’s scheme of work.
• Assign homework in line with school policies.
• Utilise assessment data to monitor progress, set targets and inform future lessons.
• Provide regular oral and written feedback, using diagnostic marking to encourage student response.
• Record and analyse formative and summative assessments to ensure student progress.
• Undertake pastoral duties and participate in school meetings related to curriculum and administration.
• Attend parent meetings prepared to discuss achievement and well‑being.
• Engage in professional development and training activities.

Required profile

• BA/BE.d degree.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar teaching role.
• Experience working in the United States.
• Desirable: teaching licence.
