ELV Assistant Technician

About the role

We are looking for an ELV Assistant Technician to support the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across our projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with senior technicians and engineers to ensure all ELV work meets technical standards, safety requirements and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist ELV technicians and engineers during installation, maintenance and troubleshooting activities on site.
• Support structured cabling tasks including cable pulling, routing, termination, labeling and dressing.
• Help install and perform basic configuration of CCTV cameras, access‑control panels, intercom, audio and fire‑alarm devices.
• Carry out basic testing and inspections to verify proper operation of ELV systems and report any faults.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, update cable schedules, equipment lists and as‑built drawings.
• Follow site safety rules, method statements and toolbox talks, keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on technical aptitude for ELV systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Willingness to work on construction sites and adhere to safety standards.
• Basic understanding of ELV components such as CCTV, access control and structured cabling.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with senior staff.
