ELV & CCTV Design Engineer

About the role

AURA Reinvent Security Systems is looking for an experienced ELV/CCTV Design Engineer to create detailed system layouts and technical documentation for premium residential and commercial projects across Ras Al Khaimah and the Northern Emirates. The role combines site surveying, design, and close coordination with installation teams to ensure flawless implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and camera coverage analysis for villas and commercial buildings.
• Design IP CCTV systems ranging from small setups to 32+ cameras.
• Produce AutoCAD 2D layouts, single‑line diagrams, cable routing plans, and equipment schedules.
• Estimate cable distances remotely using Google Earth/Maps and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities.
• Develop technical specifications for equipment procurement.
• Coordinate with field installation teams to ensure designs are executed correctly.

Required profile

• Attested Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering/Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of CCTV/ELV design experience in the UAE.
• Working knowledge of GRA regulatory requirements.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).

Required skills

• AutoCAD (2D layouts, SLD, schematics).
• IP CCTV system design (Hikvision, Dahua preferred).
• PoE networking and NVR configuration.
• Google Earth/Maps for cable distance estimation.
• Single‑line diagram creation and cable routing planning.
• Bill of Quantities preparation and technical specification writing.
• GRA/Hemaya compliance documentation.
• Basic Revit/BIM coordination.
• Access control and video intercom system design.
