Emirati Architect – Sustainable Design at WSP

About the role

WSP is looking for a talented Emirati Architect to join its Middle East Architecture team. You will work on high‑profile, sustainable projects across multiple sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to deliver innovative design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, schematic and detailed architectural designs for diverse project types.
• Produce high‑quality drawings, BIM models, visualisations and presentations using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, sustainability and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare design reports, technical specifications and documentation for each project stage.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys and compliance checks.
• Support senior architects and project managers to deliver packages on time and to quality standards.
• Take part in internal design reviews, stakeholder meetings and coordination workshops.
• Research materials, technologies, building codes and design trends to inform innovation.

Required profile

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in an architectural or design consultancy.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and technical capability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective time‑management skills in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
