Emirati Architect – Sustainable Design Projects

About the role

WSP in the Middle East is looking for a talented Emirati Architect to join its multidisciplinary Architecture team in Dubai. The role offers the chance to work on high‑profile, sustainable and future‑focused projects across a variety of sectors, contributing to design excellence and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, schematic and detailed architectural designs for diverse project types.
• Produce high‑quality drawings, BIM models, visualisations and presentations using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, sustainability and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design outcomes.
• Prepare design reports, technical specifications and documentation for each project stage.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys and compliance checks.
• Support senior architects and project managers to deliver project packages on time and to quality standards.
• Contribute to internal design reviews, stakeholder meetings and coordination workshops.
• Research materials, technologies, building codes and design trends to drive innovation.

Required profile

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in an architectural or design consultancy environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and technical capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SketchUp.
• Experience with Rhino.
• Experience with Lumion or Enscape.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
