Energy Efficiency Consultant

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Consultant to join its Sustainability team in the UAE. You will deliver energy audit and consulting services across the MEA region, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive energy and CO₂ reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide energy audit and consulting services for customers in the MEA region.
• Conduct measurement campaigns using power analyzers, anemometers and other energy‑measuring instruments.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers' energy‑management and sustainability goals and translate them into actionable audit recommendations.
• Research customer needs, evaluate technical solutions and manage small‑ to mid‑size service projects.
• Travel to customer sites and Schneider Electric offices to implement EMIS systems and deliver training.
• Review estimation requirements, plan service delivery and manage technical risks.
• Collaborate with the Efficiency Service Head to ensure execution aligns with estimates.
• Evaluate third‑party components, produce technical documentation and share best practices.

Required profile

• Passion for customer‑focused energy‑management consulting.
• AEE Energy Auditor certification preferred.
• MTech or BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy consulting for buildings and industry.
• Strong knowledge of energy‑efficiency standards and government regulations.
• Excellent communication, documentation and teamwork skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and handle tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
