Engineer – Facilities Management

About the role

Transguard Group is seeking an Engineer to join its Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role supports the Facilities Manager and clients in day‑to‑day operational management of all FM services, ensuring the facility is safe, functional and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Manager with operational oversight of maintenance, housekeeping, soft services and vendor coordination.
• Prepare monthly operational reports, monitor SLA/KPI performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage specialist contractors, procurement activities and ensure compliance with safety and statutory guidelines.
• Conduct staff inductions, training and maintain accurate personnel records.
• Maintain client relationships through regular meetings, site visits and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in service delivery of structured FM contracts.
• Valid driving licence and knowledge of CAFM systems.
• Relevant certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH or CFM are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAFM software.
• Strong MS Office skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Report writing and data analysis capabilities.
