Engineer – Fixed Access Network Planning & Rollout (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Engineer to join our e& UAE/Tech/AND/Fixed Access Network department. In this role you will plan and optimise our fixed access network infrastructure, develop innovative designs, accurately forecast demand and ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with stakeholders using GIS and technology integration skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient fixed access network designs, considering scalability and future growth.
• Accurately forecast demand for network resources, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of network reliability.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals and execute plans effectively.
• Utilise GIS tools and technologies to optimise network coverage and performance.
• Collaborate with technology partners to integrate innovative solutions into the network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, identify improvement areas and implement cost‑effective solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance network efficiency and security.
• Document and maintain network records, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date information.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• UAE national with strong understanding of the local market and cultural dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to fixed access networks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
