Engineer, Projects (Supply Chain)

About the role

The Engineer, Projects (Supply Chain) is responsible for designing and developing new supply‑operations projects, ensuring they are cost‑effective, meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, working closely with Operations, Engineering and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute projects in line with ADNOC and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and control capital budgets for new projects and asset replacements.
• Develop scopes of work, review consultant and contractor designs, specifications and costs.
• Ensure compliance with supply‑chain requirements such as product integrity, HSE, process safety and operability.
• Advise Operations managers on contractual matters, scope changes and contractor claims.
• Conduct weekly site meetings with consultants, contractors and suppliers to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
• Inspect new terminals, facilities and equipment for quality and integrity.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to engineering and project management.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Contracts during tender stages, support pre‑qualification and technical evaluation of bidders.
