Engineering Manager – Hotel Facilities

About the role

Hyatt Place Dubai seeks a hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and facilities operations across two properties – Wasl District and Baniyas Square. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high‑standard operation of all building systems while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering teams for both hotels, planning schedules and allocating resources.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life‑safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, local regulations, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage engineering budgets, operating expenses, contractors and service agreements.
• Support energy, water and waste‑reduction projects and coordinate with other departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience as Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑development abilities.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach with ability to handle emergencies and competing priorities.
