English Language Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote English Language Specialist to transcribe and edit audio content for a leading technology and information services client. The position is contract‑based, paid at $20‑30 per hour, and allows you to work from anywhere while delivering high‑quality written material.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe audio files into accurate, well‑formatted English text.
• Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
• Follow client‑specific guidelines and transcription standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Meet assigned deadlines and manage deliverables independently.

Required profile

• Fluent in English with excellent listening comprehension.
• Prior experience in transcription, editing, or proofreading.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to structured guidelines.
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working remotely.
