English Teacher (Cycle 2 & 3) – American Curriculum

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Falah City is looking for a motivated English Teacher to deliver the American curriculum to Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 students. The role involves creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic success and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with American curriculum standards.
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages participation.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Implement individualized strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom culture.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings and collaborative planning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons.
• Support extracurricular activities and school events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with the American curriculum.
• Commitment to student development and academic excellence.
