ENT Consultant

About the role

The ENT Consultant will join Al Dhafra Hospitals to deliver comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. This role involves direct patient management, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and contribution to clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, take histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and perform relevant procedures or surgeries.
• Collaborate with other specialists, departments, and support services to ensure integrated patient care.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and educate junior medical staff, residents, and students.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, obtaining informed consent as required.
• Adhere to hospital policies, DOH regulations, occupational health, safety, and infection control protocols.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.
• Completed residency or fellowship in the relevant ENT specialization.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility letter; current license from last practice country; Certificate of Good Standing; successful DOH licensing exam.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are an asset.
