ENT Consultant

About the role

Al Emadi Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Consultant to provide specialised care for patients with disorders and diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. The consultant plays a key role in diagnosing, treating and managing ENT conditions and works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and assessments of patients with ENT-related symptoms and conditions.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, audiograms and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including medical, surgical and/or therapeutic interventions.
• Perform surgical procedures such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries and tympanoplasties.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, monitoring progress and managing complications.
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, oncologists and radiologists to coordinate patient care.
• Stay up to date with ENT advances through continuous medical education and professional development.
• Take part in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives and research projects.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognised institution with specialisation in Otolaryngology (ENT).
• Board certification or equivalent accreditation in Otolaryngology.
• At least 10 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating ENT disorders, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
