Enterprise Account Executive - South Africa

About the role

Snowflake is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive for its South Africa territory, based in Dubai. This acquisition-focused role drives net-new enterprise business and acquires new logos, building relationships with prospective customers and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close.

Key responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise business and logo acquisition across the allocated territory, with a strong focus on prospecting and winning new customers.
• Achieve sales quotas for allocated prospective accounts on a quarterly and annual basis, using a sales strategy, target prospect list and regional sales plan.
• Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap.
• Qualify prospects, develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams, and arrange initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Support newly acquired customers through a successful transition and onboarding.

Required profile

• 7+ years of field sales experience preferred, with an emphasis on data or cloud-related technology.
• 5+ years of experience generating net-new business and acquiring enterprise logos in the META region, specifically South Africa.
• Proven ability to independently prospect, develop and close new client relationships.
• Experience achieving a quota of $1M+ ARR per year.
• Executive-level relationship-management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
• Bonus points for implementing MEDDPICC, selling software or cloud-based applications to enterprise customers, and industry-specific experience.
