Enterprise Architect - IT

About the role

The Enterprise Architect defines and governs the target-state architecture for ACCBC across applications, data, integration, cloud, security and AI, translating business strategy into a secure, scalable and cost-effective technology landscape. The role reports to the Senior Director of Information Technology and sits in the Information Technology function, with particular focus on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 programme, enterprise integration, Microsoft Fabric, AI enablement, architecture governance and solution assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Define the enterprise target-state architecture and multi-year technology roadmap, and chair the Architecture Review Board / Design Authority
• Own the end-to-end D365 solution architecture and its transition from legacy ERP, including CRM, HR, Procurement, Tax, Audit and commercial applications
• Define enterprise integration strategy (APIs, event-driven, messaging, ETL/ELT, B2B/EDI) and govern integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps and Service Bus
• Define the data architecture and analytics roadmap using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, lakehouse, warehouse, Power BI and data governance
• Evaluate and architect AI and GenAI use cases, and establish responsible-AI governance
• Define primarily Azure-based cloud architecture, identity and access, and embed security and privacy by design
• Provide architectural assurance across projects, support business cases and evaluate vendor proposals
• Mentor architects and developers, maintain architecture documentation and engage business leaders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's or MBA preferred
• At least 12 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture in large organizations
• Proven ownership of a major ERP implementation (D365, SAP or Oracle), with strong D365 experience preferred
• Experience architecting AI/GenAI solutions that reached production
• Experience in multi-country, multi-currency environments, preferably manufacturing, FMCG or distribution

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure architecture
• Enterprise integration (API-led, event-driven) and Microsoft Fabric
• Certifications such as TOGAF, D365 Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP/CISM, PMP or PRINCE2 highly desirable
