Estimation Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for infrastructure, civil, and landscape construction projects. The role involves detailed quantity take‑offs, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and coordination with procurement and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take‑offs, BOQs and tender pricing for roads, drainage, utilities, paving, earthworks and related civil works.
• Conduct rate analysis, unit rate calculations and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate with Procurement, QS, Engineering and Project teams to gather accurate technical and cost data.
• Support tender submissions, commercial clarifications and negotiations.
• Maintain and update material, labour, equipment and subcontractor rate databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in infrastructure or civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities, paving, earthworks and related infrastructure works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• UAE experience, particularly in Abu Dhabi, is preferred.
