Estimation Engineer

About the role

Future Builders Engineering General Contracting is seeking an Estimation Engineer to support the pricing and tendering of building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with engineering, procurement and project teams to deliver accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, BOQs, specifications and scope of work.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs and project cost estimates.
• Conduct rate analysis for civil, architectural and finishing works.
• Issue RFQs, obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify scope gaps or exclusions and recommend solutions.
• Assist in preparing complete technical and commercial tender packages.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Project teams during tender preparation.
• Follow up on tender clarifications and pricing revisions as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of supplier, subcontractor and market rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in estimation/tendering within building construction.
• Preferably experienced with UAE contracting practices.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity take‑off, rate analysis and construction materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical, communication and coordination abilities.
• Capable of meeting tender deadlines and working independently.
