Estimation Engineer – Low Voltage Systems

About the role

The Estimation Engineer will handle technical sales and estimation activities for low‑voltage (LV) systems, targeting commercial buildings, data centres, oil & gas and utility sectors. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors to understand project requirements, preparing techno‑commercial proposals and supporting tendering, negotiations and order closure.

Key responsibilities

• Accurate preparation of cost estimates, BOQs and pricing for LV systems.
• Timely submission of tenders ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial buildings, data centres, oil & gas and utility sectors.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors to understand project requirements and prepare techno‑commercial proposals.
• Provide technical support during pre‑bid and post‑bid stages and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in sales and estimation of LV systems, preferably in the UAE market.
• Proven exposure to commercial buildings, data centres, BMS, oil & gas and utility projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and ELV systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Centre LV infrastructure.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and estimation tools.
• Good understanding of tender documents, drawings, specifications and UAE authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, ADCD, Civil Defence, Etisalat/DU).
• Valid UAE driving licence.
